Happy 5787!

The Jewish Religious Union in the Republic of Belarus warmly wishes you a Happy Rosh Hashanah — the New Year 5787!

On behalf of the Board of the Union and all members of 16 communities across Belarus — from Minsk to the smallest towns — we wish you and your loved ones health, warmth, peace, and goodness.
The past year has been a very productive one for us. It was filled with projects, meetings, and new partnerships. We worked together, learned, celebrated, and made plans for the future. And today we look back with gratitude on all that has been accomplished.
This year, the Maccabi movement was revived in Belarus — a new sporting direction opened, uniting people through sport, health, and a shared purpose. Very soon, we will begin distributing humanitarian aid to those who need it most. At the Minsk Jewish Heritage Centre named after Polina Dobkina, more than 50 events have taken place — lectures, film screenings, club meetings, holidays, and warm Shabbats. We continue our work to preserve memory: cleaning and cataloguing the matzevot on Sukhaya Street, restoring the names of those who were forgotten.
The life of the community does not stop for a single day. And all of this is possible thanks to you: your support, your participation, and your faith in our shared cause.
May the new year 5787 bring good changes, new achievements, and strong connections. May there be peace in every home and light in every heart.
Shana tova u-metuka!
May the year be good and sweet!
